At Polaris, we can provide three different types of water: pure glacial spring water, distilled water and premium (reverse osmosis) water.

Pure Glacial Spring Water

Our glacial spring water comes from our privately-owned source located in the Coastal Mountains north of Whistler away from all industry or development. The ultimate source of the water is from the alpine glaciers that melt and flow through the protected Watershed into our Spring aquifer.

The water is filtered and ozonated to ensure a consistent quality while maintaining the waters natural state. Because our glacial spring water has a low natural mineral level, it has a "soft" and "crisp" taste without any mineral aftertaste.

Premium (Reverse Osmosis) Water

Our premium water is Reverse Osmosis processed. RO purification uses a very tight filter under pressure that removes minerals from the water. The end result is water similar in chemistry to Distilled water - all the minerals have been removed. As the water has not been "heated" the end taste is different from distilled but the purity is basically the same.

Distilled Water

The distillation process is essentially boiling water at a high heat, collecting the steam vapour, condensing it and filtering the final product. This is a purification process that will remove any minerals and produce water that is 99.99% pure.
